The National Pony Express Association, is proud to announce a new monument by Peter M. Fillerup commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Pony Express. Plans are underway to mark the historic trail with monuments, statues, and commemorative plaques. Two monuments have already been approved and will be going up at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody Wyoming, and the Cabela’s corporate headquarters in Sidney, Nebraska. Funding for additional sites is underway in Sandy, Utah; and Folsom, California. Please join with us in celebrating the significant role the Pony Express has played in our western heritage, and keep the memory alive. With the monumental statue underway, a smaller bronze edition of "Hard and Fast All the Way" is being offered. The 21"x 27"x 6" edition is limited to 150 bronze castings and offered at an introductory price of $5,500. A $2,750 deposit will secure your casting number with the balance due when the statue is shipped within 10-12 weeks of ordering. Now is the time to order your casting because on June 1st the statue retail price will go up to $7,500. |
